RBC Race for the Kids
On September 16, the RBC Race for the Kids, taking place in Brookfield Place, will be raising money in support of New York City youth charities, including Youth INC and six other youth-serving nonprofits. This fun-filled day is the perfect family event for the Fall season, with activities for the entire family, including a 4K race, bike road race, kids races, Sports Zone, Kids Zone, and the competitive RBC Challenge.
The Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has a long legacy of supporting and working with charities and initiatives that benefit youth and communities at the grassroots level. Since 2009, the RBC Race for the Kids in New York has brought together 26,550 participants and raised $8.3 million to improve the lives of NYC kids. The RBC Race for the Kids in New York is just one of fifteen charitable runs RBC hosts annually around the globe. Other race locations include Canada, Chicago, Houston, Minneapolis, the United Kingdom, Trinidad & Tobago, Kuala Lumpur, Australia, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Luxembourg. The RBC Race for the Kids series is part of RBC’s larger commitment to youth through the RBC Kids Pledge, a five-year, $100 million promise to improve the well-being of one million kids and youth. New York is a city of endless opportunity, but not all our youth have the resources they need to meet their potential. The RBC Race for the Kids' mission is to improve the lives of New York City youth by supporting the 1,500 youth-serving organizations in NYC, all trying to make this city a better place.
Join us on September 16 for a day of fun for the whole family that helps elevate the children and youth in our community.
